Fostering Mental Health and Productivity: Why It’s So Important

Mental health issues can drive people towards disengagement in the workplace. According to McKinsey’s recent report on workplace productivity, the estimated cost of employee disengagement and attrition for a median-sized S&P 500 company is $228 million a year.

What you’ll learn from our webinar:

  • Showing companies how to raise productivity and engagement through better support of employees with mental health conditions.
  • The webinar also covers topics for job seekers and employees as to what mental health services exist, why, and how Inclusively supports them.

Misconceptions around mental health may prevent qualified job seekers and current employees with mental health conditions from accessing necessary support, including reasonable accommodations, which contribute to success on the job.

Not only are businesses missing out on a valuable pool of workers, but they may also be missing an opportunity to promote practices that support mental health and wellness in the workplace.

It is critical for businesses and employees to better understand the devastating effects of stigma and its impact on the workplace. This improved understanding helps organizations to be in a better position to encourage a stigma free work culture — and higher levels of productivity.
